Dubbed “The World in One Block,” St. James Town welcomes waves of newcomers and refugees with open arms and endless cultures. Yet poverty bites hard here, sidelining far too many families from the basics. The charity organization called Freedom City steps in, firing up bold outreach projects that fight hunger, crush hardship, and spark real hope for tomorrow. We've chosen this charity organization because of the real authenticity that beams from it's organizers and founder. The change that they've made within the city brought communities together. Not only are they actively serving their own communities that they've been grounded in, but are also actively supporting other charities that rely on their connections for food.
